Halloween Look Number 3 - Catwoman

Heyy Everyone,
What do you do on a Friday night if you have no social life???? That's right you play with make up... or at least I do anyway :-)
So I decided to create another Halloween style look, and I have to be honest I think this is my favorite up to now.

Tonight Matthew I'm going to be...... Catwoman

I'm so happy with how this turned out and I've been so excited to show you. I think this is so simple but so striking. Perfect for anyone who doesn't want all the gore on Halloween.

I'm hoping to have a play round and do another Halloween look tonight so hopefully will have another look up soon.

Hope you love this look as much as I do.

My Ombre Hair With Loreal Wild Ombres

Heyy Everyone,
Well My hair in 2013 has had some adventures. I started off the year with quite light blonde hair that gradually got lighter and lighter until it was white.

I loved my blonde hair but as I'm naturally dark to keep bleaching it so much was really taking its toll on my hair, so being the impulsive person I am, I one day decided I couldn't keep the bleach blonde hair for fear of going bald and went out and bought a black dye.
I'm no hair expert but I know putting brown dye on blonde hair turns it green so black was the only option, I bought 2 and dyed over my white blonde hair. It was a shock but I often go from blonde to black so not as drastic as it sounds.... for me anyway.

I've had my black hair for around 2-3 months now and the feet are already itching with what to do next. I've been loving the ombre look for a while now but believing my hair is too short I've never went through with it.
I spotted the Loreal Ombre kits in Superdrug and thought hey ho, why not give it a go. Worst case scenario I cut off my ends or just dye over them dark again.
I bought the Ombre Number 1 for light brown to dark brown hair.

I got it home and tried it out straight away. I like that it comes with a little comb for putting the dye on and brushing it through your hair as I thought this would be more of a natural look.
I basically parted my hair and put it in 2 sections to each side and brushed on the dye sort of from ear height to the ends. I then waited 25 minutes and washed off.

I don't feel these pics fully do it justice but you get the jist. My ends are now a warm brown colour and I love the look, even on my short hair. As you can imagine my hair is pretty damaged but it was before using this kit so I've bought a few treatments for it.

Well 2013 has been quite a mad one for my hair but I think I'm going to keep it this way for a while now as I'm so happy with it, the only thing I might do is go a lighter ombre once my hair is in better condition.

So I would love to know your thoughts on my new hair, and also if you have tried one of these ombre kits yourself and what you thought.

Sleek Vintage Romance Palette and FOTD

Heyy Everyone,
So I recently picked up yet another Sleek Palette, and this time I have went for the Vintage Romance Palette.
Sleek is by far one of my favorite brands, the quality is great for the price.

As soon as I seen these colours they screamed Autumn to me, Autumn is by far my favorite season and I just had to buy this palette.

Here are the shadows swatched

There are 12 shadows in total in this palette, and only one shade is matte, all the others are shimmery or glittery. That's not an issue for me as I love shimmery shades more than matte.

From left to right the shades are
1)Pretty in Paris 2)Meet in Madrid 3)Court in Cannes 4)Lust in LA 5)Romance in Rome 6)Propose in Prague (matte shade) 7)A vow in Venice 8)Marry in Monte Carlo 9)Honeymoon on Hollywood 10)Bliss in Barcelona 11)Forever in Florence 12)Love in London

I literally could not wait to play with these shades so I done a little FOTD with some of the shades.

The shades I used were Pretty in Paris, Marry in Monte Carlo, A vow in Venice and Love in London.
I love these colours so much nd cant wait to use the other shdes in the palette.

Have you tried this palette too?? I would love to hear your thoughts :-)

Halloween Look Number Two - Vampire

Heyy Everyone,
I'm sure as many of you fellow MUA's and general make up lovers know when you get an urge to play with make up you must fulfill the urge as soon as possible.

Well that's what happened to me late Sunday afternoon, I got the urge and with Halloween fast approaching I decided to do a practice look number two.

This time Vampire was my theme, now as far as Halloween looks go this is for sure a more sexy/safe option if looking gruesome really isn't your thing.

To achieve this look I done a really dark smokey eye and added a purple/silver glitter to both my eyelid and under my lower lash-line, I feathered out the brows and made them very bold just for something different. I kept the skin light, no blusher, just contour with a matte bronzer and some shading under my eyes and nose.
I actually filled my lips in with black gel liner and added a gloss on top, the red and the side of my mouth was achieved with a red lipstick and the little drops of blood are actually stickers from a little Halloween set I bought.

To complete the look contacts were added and I believe they really do add such a great finishing touch. There were so many contacts I really want to try, I especially fell in love with some light purple ones.

Hope you like this look, i'm really loving getting in the Halloween spirit :-)

Halloween Look Practice, Number One

Heyy everyone...
Well its that time of year again, id say my second favorite time of year and that's Halloween.

I'm not 100% set on what I'm going to be yet, I'm just going to have fun practicing different looks and see what I like the best.

For my first practice look I've went for a kind of sexy Chucky (if there is such a thing)
It didn't take me very long to do and if I was to do it again, id add some fake blood and lashes to set it off even more.

I'm pretty pleased with the outcome, and I think with a few finishing touches it could look even better. I would also add more depth to the scars next time.

Hope you liked this look, I cant wait to get creating more.
